Pennsylvania's Dark Skies
Cherry Springs State Park, in nearby Potter County, PA boasts some of the darkest, most star-filled skies in the eastern U.S., which makes it an ideal place for astronomers, stargazers and anyone who wants to see the true majesty of the Milky Way flowing across the sky. It has been designated as Pennsylvania's first "official" Dark Sky Park by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). To read more about it click here.
